Reviews
I have not had such proper Italian food in Australia before ever. I went with a vegetarian fellow and yet I was not disappointed with the food at all. It was amazing and truely satisfying. Definitely worth the money. The alcohol selection was decent but as a whiskey lover I was disappointed when there was no whiskey in the menu. I also was not overly happy with the fact that we had to sit outside despite making a booking, mostly because it was really cold outside and the heaters installed were not very helpful during such strong winds. I also believe they were understaffed as we had to make frequent trips inside the restaurant to get the waiting staff to serve us. I understand they usually are very busy but we had to wait a lot and the cold environment didn't make it easy. However the food, MAMA MIA!!!!! I will definitely go again and again just for the food even if they make me sit outside in cold and that how good the food was.
Food is great but when picking up last time recently - your staff member asked my pregnant wife to wait outside in the cold with the delivery people. I am absolutely appalled and did try to call many times during operating hours to vent my feedback.
Ordered takeaway. Food was decent, but not worth the price, considering the quality and quantity of food, especially for the pasta.
Overcrowded and too loud to enjoy the atmosphere. The food was pretty average as well. Staff were polite and friendly
This place was absolutely packed, showing how popular this restaurant is.
We decided to go all out and ordered what felt like half of the menu, which was entirely too much food. When we saw the serving portions for the pasta we regretted ordering the pizza as well, but managed to chew our way through it.
The quality of the food was exceptional, with my favourite being the rigatoni with ragu, which was cooked to perfection.
There was some minor issue with the service, but they very quickly rectified so I cannot complain at all.
The restaurant space itself is a little cramped, a function of how popular they seem to be and how many tables they are trying to cram into the space, but it's not too obtrusive.
All in all it was a lovely time.
Had a work dinner with colleagues midweek. Enjoyed the special of the day - risotto with some Italian wine. Tasty food, good location and nice service.
We held our work Christmas dinner at Amalfi on Saturday night. The communication from Beth was first class, she gave me all the necessary information about the food packages on offer. We went the $60 per head 3 course option, 1st course - …
Perfect food and best Italian dishes
Highly recommend this place!!!
